A new residential complex is being built at Wiedner Hauptstraße 140, which is distinctive for its two structures with different architectural characters.
The street-facing building with its urban character blends harmoniously into the cityscape. The planned dark window frames, glass panes and guardrails form a unity and create an exciting contrast to the light façade. The alternating balcony design gives the façade a dynamic effect, while the high-quality fibre cement panels and the harmonious colours lend the building a timeless and elegant appearance.
Entering the foyer reveals a higher standard – walls unfold in light, beige tones and in the stairwell the lighting creates a friendly atmosphere. From the compact two-room flat to the luxurious penthouse flat, there are numerous, spaciously arranged flats with an urban atmosphere.
The second building contrasts with the austere, urban character of the street-side part of the building and unfolds into a quiet inner courtyard that is separated from the street. The design features maisonette units with their own gardens and loggias. Generous green spaces will be created, resulting in a quiet and relaxed residential oasis in the centre of the city.
The modern architecture features the use of air-source heat pumps and a photovoltaic system, while the green roofs ensure sustainability and energy efficiency.
