Project
Topping-out Ceremony for the Oberpullendorf Clinic Logistics Centre
A milestone has been reached: the building structure of our new logistics centre in Oberpullendorf has been successfully completed and provides an impressive insight into the future of regional healthcare. The project, which not only strengthens the hospital site, but also stimulates economic development in the region due to the new jobs it generates, is both on budget and on schedule.
The new building, consisting of 4 storeys and a total usable area of 4180 m², will house a variety of service functions in the future. Material storage, workshops, laundry, cloakrooms, the dining hall and the kitchen will now be efficiently bundled in the logistics centre. The building is scheduled to go into operation at the end of September 2024.
Prof. Dr Stephan Kriwanek, Medical Director of Gesundheit Burgenland, emphasises the importance of this step for the future: “With the extension, we are setting the course for optimised and future-oriented healthcare. The logistics centre will not only increase efficiency, but will also help us meet the constantly growing demands in the healthcare sector.”
