Living Am langen Felde: 155 flats ready for occupancy

In mid-June, the first residents moved into the residential quarter “Am langen Felde”. After 2 years of construction, the building complex with its 3 different residential buildings on a connecting base was completed and handed over to the client, Siedlungsunion, and immediately to its new residents.

In 2019, work on the project has begun: 155 subsidised flats (partly SMART flats), 5 of which are organised as a residential home, and an 8-group kindergarten for the Kinderfreunde have been built. As for the flats, the range is diverse – from one-bedroom flats with 40 m² to 5-room variants with 115 m², everything is possible.

Efficient planning made it possible for us to realise the project almost unchanged. Within the rather tight cost framework for subsidised housing projects, we have developed a high-quality building. Generous, two-storey entrance areas, flats with green terraces (on the ground floor, but also on the roof of the basement), a community room with direct access to the adjacent terrace on the 5th floor and 3 naturally lit staircases are the distinguishing features of the project.
