In Schumanngasse, a six-storey street-facing building (Staircase 1) and a five-storey garden building (Staircase 2) were designed and constructed, comprising a total of 99 residential units.
The inviting, centrally located entrance area reflects the high standard of the residential development. Compact apartments with private outdoor spaces in the form of balconies or terraces are arranged on the upper floors. The top floors are reserved for spacious single-level and maisonette apartments with panoramic views.
In the basement level of the street-facing wing, the lowering of the open space creates south-facing apartments. Additional residential units are located at courtyard level within the street-facing building. The garden building allows for high-quality, commercially used garden apartments on the ground floor.
The Z-shaped configuration of the garden wing responds to zoning requirements and enables generous long-distance views from the upper floors. A children’s playground is situated between the two buildings, easily accessible and visible from the apartments.
An efficient structural framework and shallow floor plans make it possible to offer a diverse mix of apartment types.
