Celebrating Construction Progress for AIT

An important milestone has been reached: in Ranshofen, we celebrated the topping-out ceremony of AIT’s new Lightweight Metal Competence Center – Austrian Institute of Technology.

Despite wintry conditions with snow and ice, the project remains fully on schedule. A wonderful occasion to jointly acknowledge the progress achieved so far. Numerous representatives of the companies involved, along with the client AIT, gathered in a heated hall at a frosty –10 °C to celebrate this special moment.

This research facility was designed as a joint venture (ARGE) by F+P Architekten and Architekten Färbergasse. The result will be a forward-looking center where leading technology experts will conduct research on high-quality lightweight components for innovative applications. The new building comprises two halls for specialized research processes as well as an office and laboratory building with an integrated multifunctional space for seminars and internal events.
