Competition Karl Landsteiner Private University

This new university building follows the campus character of the adjacent Danube University Krems, and the north-south oriented urban grain of the wider neighbourhood. This first building for the Karl Landsteiner Privatuniversität reflects the university ideal of a transparent and solution-oriented culture of dialogue through its generous, open central atrium which connects the storeys. Interdisciplinary communication between the various fields of study is encouraged by the open internal layout of the building.
