Opening of the Heide Kindergarten in Gießhübl

Inspired by Nature – Architecture for the Youngest

The Heide Kindergarten in Gießhübl was officially opened by Governor of Lower Austria Johanna Mikl-Leitner. Since early September, the building has already been in use – children play, learn, and grow in bright, friendly spaces surrounded by nature.

The timber construction, designed by F+P Architekten, combines sustainability, warmth, and natural materialswithin a clear architectural concept. In addition to generous interior spaces, the kindergarten features a forest playground, raised planting beds, and diverse play areas with plenty of wood and sheltered niches.

The result is a nature-inspired environment that gives children space to explore, play, and grow.
