Competition Cinque Ville

As part of the competition, a future-proof concept was developed for five polygonal buildings featuring green roofs with photovoltaic systems and an ecologically designed, ventilated timber façade.

The rounded shapes create fluid, interlocking open spaces between the individual villas. Tight and wide areas alternate, generating surprising views, vistas, and sightlines. The arrangement and form of the five villas give the entire neighborhood its unique and distinctive character.

At the center of the overall site, a cross-neighborhood children’s playground was planned (to be coordinated with the developers of the western property).

Due to the gently sloping topography toward the southwest, a uniform “plateau” is proposed for the five villas. An embankment on the southern side simplifies access to the two-story garage.
